* CERC Young Adults' Visit (Group 2): 2) Sunday Worship and Fellowship

With joy I heard my friends exclaim,
Come let us in God's temple meet;
Within thy gates, O Zion blest,
Shall ever stand our willing feet.

The next day of the young adults' visit was Sunday, so we headed off at 6:30 a.m. to worship with the First Reformed Church in Bulacan.  We had two services in the morning, with time for fellowship in between.  First Reformed graciously served us all a delicious lunch, so the young people had time to fellowship while we ate as well.

May as well get a little extra sleep on the 1 1/2 hour drive!

How beautiful doth Zion stand,
A city built compact and fair;
The people of the Lord unite
With joy and praise to worship there.

For Zion's peace let prayer be made;
May all that love thee prosper well,
Within thy walls let peace abide,
And gladness with thy children dwell.

Lunch!

Chatting while we eat.

After lunch we left in time to make it to the Berean PRC's second service at 3:30.  That way the CERC young adults could see where they worship and meet more of the saints.

We ended a blessed day by having supper together at the Smits.

For sake of friends and kindred dear,
My heart's desire is Zion's peace,
And for the house of God, the Lord,
My loving care shall never cease.
