* Visit to PRFA in Leyte (1)

The Protestant Reformed Fellowship in Albuera, Leyte

Rev. Kleyn left home at about 1:00 AM Friday morning, March 24.  He met Rev. John Flores and Bro. Eric Mescallado (Berean PRC) at the airport for their 4:30 AM flight to the Island of Leyte.  The purpose of their trip was to visit the mission work of the PRC in Bulacan and to investigate the field in Albuera, Leyte.  The PRC of Bulacan has requested the Classis of the PRC in the Philippines to take over their work there.

They first flew from Manila to Tacloban, Leyte.

Next they took a van
(with multiple passengers and stops on the route)
to Ormoc, Leyte.

The next and final step of the trip was to take a jeepney
from Ormoc to Albuera, where the mission group is.

* PRCP Classis - February 25, 2017

On Saturday, February 25, the Protestant Reformed Churches in the Philippines held one of its regular Classis meeting.  The Classis meets three times a year.  This meeting was held in Maranatha PRC Building in Valenzuela (the north side of Manila).  The agenda was for the most part routine.

The delegates seated for the meeting

There were a couple of new office bearers who had not before been delegates to Classis.
They signed the Formula of Subscription.
We are thankful to God for supplying men for the special offices in the church.
