* CERCS Young Adults' Visit: (3) Berean PRC

After lunch at Provident Christian Church on Sunday July 7, we made our way to where the Berean PRC meets.  We arrived in time for some visiting and for the young adults to attend the catechism class.

* CERCS Young Adults' Visit: (2) Provident Christian Church in Marikina

On Thursday night the Singaporean young people were able to come with us to the doctrine class my husband is teaching in Provident Christian Church every week.  They and Erin were also able to attend worship there with us on Sunday morning.  Both groups really enjoyed the fellowship.

Masarap na pagkain (delicious food) for lunch.

Uh oh.  Time to try balut!  The audience is keenly interested!
Step 1: Crack the top off the shell and peel the white membrane away.
Step 2: Drink the delicious juice.
Step 3: Peel the rest of the egg.
Step 4: Eat and enjoy!

The balut - a fertilized duck egg, duckling and all.

They all passed the test and ate the whole thing.

Once again, everyone enjoyed fellowshipping with fellow saints in Christ from different lands.

* CERCS Young Adults' Visit: (1) First Reformed of Bulacan

Last week we had a group of 4 young adults from Singapore visit the Philippines: Cornelius Boon, Elisa Boon, Lisa Ong, and Joanne Tan.  Also joining us for the weekend was Erin Braaksma, a member of Georgetown PRC.

We enjoyed getting to know them all and taking them around.  But most of all we were thankful for the fellowship they could have with the various groups and churches here, especially with the young people.

On Saturday, July 6 we made an early morning trip to the First Reformed Church in Bulacan for a morning of fun and fellowship with the youth there.

Breaking the ice.

A devotional on the universal church.

Let the games begin - Extreme Ninja!
(With everyone starting in a circle, you then took turns making one move.  The idea (I think) was to knock someone else's arm in your move in order to eliminate him.  Each person has two arms, so two hits before you are eliminated.)

Dog and Bones!
(See which team member or team could grab the "bone" and get back across his line before being tagged.)

Blow Wind Blow!
(Something like Fruit Basket Upset.)

Checking out the latest issue of the "Salt Shakers" magazine produced by the youth of CERC.

Group Photo!

And another one.

Going for a walk to see the neighborhood and market.

Checking out some pictures.

Cornelius Boon, Elisa Boon, Rose Ann Flores, Rev. Flores, Joanne Tan, Lisa Ong.

We are so thankful for the time of fellowship so that the youth could experience first hand the beautiful truth of the catholic (universal) church.

"All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.  For the kingdom is the LORD's: and he is the governor among the nations.... A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation."
Psalm 22: 27, 28, 30.
